Ongoing monthly clinic at an Oakland community space. Bring broken things — household items, small appliances, garments, bikes. Volunteers welcome.
We run a free monthly repair clinic, second Saturday of every month, 10am–2pm, at a community space in West Oakland. Visitors bring broken things; volunteer fixers help fix them.
Visitors: Bring small appliances, household items, lamps, garments, bikes, basic furniture. Things we can't fix in 2 hours we'll redirect to people who can.
Volunteers: All skill levels welcome. We especially need a textiles-and-mending station and a bike mechanic. If you know small-appliance work, you'll be a star.
