Licensed electrician for a tenant repair clinic
Monthly tenant repair clinic in West Philadelphia needs a licensed electrician for diagnostic visits and code-help. One Saturday a month, ongoing.
The clinic sees ~12 tenant households a month. Most issues are dampness, hardware, and plumbing — but we routinely turn away electrical issues for lack of someone licensed.
Looking for: a licensed electrician (or two, in rotation) willing to attend one Saturday clinic per month, 9am-1pm. Role is diagnostic and code-help — looking at conditions, advising tenants on what to ask the landlord, calling out actually-urgent stuff. Not doing the actual repair work on-site.
Free or modest honorarium (we have a small flexible budget). Can also offer letter-of-reference for licensing renewal, CPD credit if applicable, and the chance to teach the clinic team to see what you see.
